the others you want to warn will see what you see eventually
once they are not getting attention, they will move on
Steam has rules and guidelines to ensure a safe and fair environment for its users. These rules cover various aspects, including online conduct, content restrictions, and account security. Violations can lead to restrictions on account features, trading, and even account bans.

They will not, they will have continue and earn satisfaction.
Rule breakers are the real trolls.
Don't break the rules.
If someone says something you don't like, don't engage. Nobody can hurt you online if you ignore them.
I'd be inclined to believe that getting ignored would probably be the worst thing for people who post attention seeking threads.
Mods did their job, cleaning the forum up.
Just because you think someone is trolling, doesn't mean they are. And yes, that goes for me when I think someone else is trolling. Mods decide, doesn't mean they're showing preferential treatment to anyone.
And the real problem is that nobody can call him out, nobody is allowed to say "don't feed the troll" or explain the history of him, because they get banned (ya know, having more than 1 account means you can report someone multiple times...). That's the real crime here. Abusing the system and the LACK of context moderators have.
They don't know the story and the fact that he spammed the forums for like 2 years. No kidding. It's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ insane and I'm just baffled
That's literally NOT the definition of a troll.
I know, the definition got muddied over time, but come on.
If mods are banning them as they create new accounts to troll, then they're not being enabled. Further, if their accounts are banned, then they cannot report anyone with them. Lastly, report spam does not result in action being taken, only 'correct' reports will. So if users are being reported for their own rule breaking, then action will be taken on them as well.
The best advice to be given is to report them, block them and then move on. Engaging will only risk you getting riled up and then banned.
