Crafting the Summer Sale Badge
Dear Steam community,
This inquiry concerns the Summer Sale badge.
I am interested to know whether you purchase the Summer Sale cards directly or if you craft regular badges and then use the Summer Sale cards obtained from them to upgrade your Summer Sale badge.
What do you consider more effective?
Buying the Summer Sale badge cards directly seems cheaper, but if you craft regular badges first, you level up faster.

I would like to hear your opinion.

I find crafting the regular badges provides for a more tangible reward. They say more about the person who makes it a point to crafts them. They also provide for more enjoyable backgrounds and emoticons. Once again those say more about the users preferences. The seasonal badges are plenty bland along with the other rewards. I find seasonal badges in showcases to be rather sad to be honest.
