There might be Half Life 3 in the works, but with Valve, i wouldn't get my hopes up, until Half Life 3 has been released
What about Half Life 2 Episode 3
Thank you for saying what needed to be said! I always use this as the biggest proof of why it will never be made.
- Half-Life 2
- Team Fortress 2
- DOTA 2
- CS 2
- PORTAL 2
- LEFT 4 DEAD 2
All stuck on two.. It''s actually insane, lol.
Yeah, it's gonna have a "Cosmic" vibe.
A lovely mix of Sci-fi, Lovecraftian and RPG goodness. Graphics look amazing but it isn't running on UC5 (unreal crap 5 aka unreal engine 5) since that has too many issues and I don't want my Steam fam to be dealing with issues/problems while trying to enjoy this lovely epic gem.
2027 release, only cause Portal 3 and Left 4 Dead 3 is also being worked on. Craziness is about to happen but patience is needed to experience this wondrous tale of gaming madness.
I dreamed up like 40% of a Half-Life game, big set pieces and everything, and my thing was you'd cross paths with Freeman and part of your task from your handler (who wouldn't be G-Man but one like him), would be you would do things to facilitate Freeman's actions as seen in Half-Life 2. But in a weird twist of events, you would fail, and Freeman would end up opening paths for you to complete your actions in assisting his, with his own from HL2, leading to a strange chicken-and-egg scenario and a set piece where you get saved by the Freeman. I'd look for a moment from HL2 where I could make you a bit player that was just a background npc to Freeman at the time if I could spin it that way.
So yeah, pretty it's time travel. Or if not that, strange fourth-wall breaking meta layers.
