Does this seem like a bot/AI response to you?

It was in the CS2 discussions, and the person in the screenshot above^ replied almost instantly after I posted my reply. I don't know it doesn't really seem like something a real human would respond because that reply holds no substance as it was just repeating what I said.

Dead internet theory has gotten more and more real over the past few years and it seems like even the steam forums aren't safe from it.

to me both those posts hold the same substance, so make of that what you will. :conwayshrug:

No, it's about the second guy adding nothing to my reply and basically saying the exact same thing but reworded, similar to how chatgpt would do it. Notice how in the second reply, where he quote replied to me, it says Originally posted by: a, when in a legit reply it would just be the user name instead of a, exactly like in this post I am writing right now. ^^

These things, they don't add up.

You probably shouldn't underestimate the need for people with nothing much to say to have a desperate need to say something. And you especially shouldn't be surprised when people don't like how you phrase things and want to put their own spin on it.

I think a lot of people are a bit too eager to attribute anything or everything to being AI. I think it's especially funny when it's applied to things that have existed for decades, and apparently people forget... that automated responses have been around for a long time. And human beings have been doing every sort of rude, silly, stupid, self-centered, and self-important thing possible for as long as there's been communication. That hasn't been usurped by AI...

I mean instead of "Is it Cake?", we could have a show "Is it AI?" And watch people be completely wrong half the time.

That is one of the many chat bots plaguing the CS2 game hub, yes.

Just look at the 2 groups they are in. They're both filled with chat bots that spam the CS2 game hub.

:nkCool:

HAHHAHAHA!!!

Welcome to the matrix.

You are correct. There are many bots on this platform, AI api is connected to their scripts.

I am not kidding you.

A lot of bots on reddit and youtube and quora too, they are all on the same APIs.

You saw youtube bots commenting and talking to each other, Reddit has BOT API(LEGALLY) You can see bot avatars, talking and asking questions. Quora has bot responses.

This is not only me,

RESEARCH LABS PROVED %50-%73 OF ALL INTERNET TRAFFIC IS DONE BY BOTS.
4 DIFFERENT LABS.

HAVE A GOOD DAY AND PEACE.(go watch movie ''get out'') Web is dead in 5 years.
