Got scammer
Hi guys so about the scam and sorry my poor English grammar. Before I shut down my computer on 19/7/2025 at 1am, a person named turtle head popped up in steam chat and told me about a market place item of cs go 2. I haven’t played cs go 2 myself. Then he told me that I was banned by the community. I went to the community and saw that I was indeed banned. I originally wanted to go to custom support to ask turtle head, but suddenly he introduced me to this walter lin. He was the one who banned me in the community. Then I went to find this walter lin’s profile and communicated with him. He told me to add him as a friend on discord. Then I followed this walter lin’s instructions and added him as a friend on discord. Then I logged into my account with him on discord. Then he checked it for me and said he wanted to give him money. Then I started using touch ngo ewallet qr scan his qr transaction. I don’t know what it is, it’s called pmmax technology limited. He said that if it reaches 100 percent, he will refund all the money to me. Then I spent 1k usd to him and he told me something like walter lin: the other 25% of your The processing fee is also refundable and will be added to your steam account balance as well as on your bank. Then I started to report it. Now I am trying to get my 1k USD back.

Not sure if I there hope I also screenshot proof but here can't 😭 pose it

You learned a valuable lesson. Contact your bank and the local police, it's the only way you'd possibly get your money back. Also secure your account, you gave access to them (Steam account).

Learn what an enforcable title is. Why in the world do you pay money without having a fine notice or an invoice?
I was too new about this but I also got community ban so I thought it was real
That's the point. Making you think it's real. Laws may seem boring but they are the rules we play by or you're getting played. They used your lack of knowledge against you because you played a game which rules you didn't know.

Don't take it personal, I feel you. That's why I want to be honest, even it sounds harsh. Take care of yourself and good luck.

If a stranger online or a company asks you for money, it's a scam. Do not follow any instructions people say on Discord in relation to Steam or any other element with an online account and that includes banking.
