get old big picture mode back on latest version

so I didn't become a PC gamer until after the deck UI rolled out, but I want to experience the old big picture mode. can I somehow get the old big picture as a mod on the latest version of steam?

No. The old UI uses tech that has since been removed from the client.

I don't care about the old boot animation being in the points shop, it's literally a cash grab. I can go in the client files and put the old boot animation there
