How to find who removed you?
Been trying to find a website where you can view who removed you from your friends list. Either some are outdated or no longer exists.

If that person removed you, do you think they are worth looking for? they obviously didn't need you and don't want to be in your friends list.
Odd request.

I suspect your only option is to try the Internet Archive Wayback Machine.

I entered your Steam profile URL, and I’m surprised to say that the Wayback Machine has records of your profile dating back to 2014. There are a total of 32 snapshots available.

You can sift through these snapshots to see if the individual who was once on your friends list is visible on your profile.

You could also try contacting Steam directly to ask whether they store historical friend logs. Be sure to provide context so they don’t misunderstand your intentions.

Other than that, I doubt there’s any service that keeps logs of Steam friends over time.

I wouldn't mind this option
Oh, here’s another tip!

If you’re in the EU, consider filing a GDPR data access request with Steam.
Companies are required to provide you with any personal data they’ve stored about you, which could include historical friend lists, if they retain that information.

Wishing you the best of luck!
And please, have good intentions when tracking others, lol.
The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic.

That would not work, since removing someone from your friends list is a privacy option and request, that the EU respects over such requests.

Oh interesting point!
I tried reading about GDPR in the past but it's very exhaustive so I am not familiar with that nuance, if you are able to post a reference about that part of GDPR for OP that would help.

https://gdpr.eu/

Quite literally designed to keep privacy.

I think were misinterpreting each other, but it doesn't matter.
Thanks for the link!
Here’s a screenshot with your historic friends. Now it’s up to you to figure out who removed you, maybe you were the one who removed someone

You can use sites like Steamid to get historic friends.

Odd , considering your own profile has

Friend Request
I will not accept random friend requests that just came from out of nowhere. I will add people that I think are cool and trusted as a friend or if we had a good time playing in a certain game.

If you add me from either a forum, review, trade, etc., I would accept your friend request from there. Still, it depends. This also applies in other games outside of Steam as well.

If you changed your profile pic, name, or set your profile to private, then that's fine to me. Just as long as I can sort of remember who you are or were when we first added, then it is no problem. Obviously I don't want to accidentally remove people that I suddenly don't know anymore lol.

Only people in my friends list can leave comments on my profile, mainly to avoid harassment and spam links.

I doubt my friends list will ever get full one day. I’d just keep you friended for memory purposes even if I don’t remember how we met with the username change lol.

All of these apply when I potentially have a job to earn some money in the future.

Think OP has mental stuff maybe or is really young.

I'm trying to put myself in their shoes for why they would want to do this and the main things coming up are:

Broken friendship leading to anxiety including behavior instead of introspection.

Significant other and person broke up....making the OP a stalking type.

....general anxiety inducing behavior.

Also WAYYYYY too much text in his profile as per the above post. Most normal folk don't add randoms on Steam and stick to ppl they know irl.

....many red flags. Hm.

I was only curious. Did not realize I was going to attract some negative responses. Otherwise, I guess I'll just accept it.

I assume that is from steamid (dot) uk? I tried using that, but it told me I needed to buy a Patreon subscription in order to access certain tools.

That was my "profile FAQ" I made a long time ago back when I was getting random friend requests left and right because I was playing a certain game a lot. Some of them were suspicious profiles that tried to add me with hidden playtime hours, hidden inventory, etc. so I just ignored and declined.

Bad assumptions there buddy.

1. I'm not mental.
2. Had never talked anything bad against anyone from the friends list.
3. What makes you think I have a girlfriend, then suddenly becoming a stalking type?
4. Depends on the person if I get a friend request. If I met someone in a game and had a great time, then maybe. It's not guaranteed for me to accept.

Despite what anyone assumes there currently is no way for you to find out who removed you, that is the person's choice to make and you are in no way obligated to be informed, that much be taken as a fact.
