Why did you disable video downloads?
Hello there.
I cannot download the trailers anymore by clicking the RMB and selecting "Save Video As".
I make videos about free games, what helps smaller devs with exposure.
Why would you ever block that option?

You can download store page trailers from SteamDB under the 'screenshots' section of a game.

Because they changed how the video player for trailers works, for good reasons. The old video player was just a HTML video element pointed at the URL for a video file. Good for being able to just right click and save that video file, bad at basically everything else. For example: going full screen sucked, because it repointed the HTML video element at a new higher-resolution video file URL, and because it wasn't the same file any more, any of the old video file you had buffered wouldn't carry over, so there was a good chance the video playback would glitch or freeze.

The new video player can now do more complex stuff, like dynamically adjust the resolution of the video to match your network speed, which improves the user experience. Going full screen now works more smoothly, etc. But since it's no longer just pointing at a single simple video file, you lose the ability to just download that file.

Adding a spot in the new UI to download the full resolution video file would be a good feature for them to add to the new player.
