Regarding EA accounts..
So...

I have 2 really old EA accounts (Older than my steam account), one of them is currently linked to my steam account and has bad company 2 and titanfall 2 linked to it.. But if i were to unlink that account and link my even older account (Where i have all my other battlefield games on), do i lose access to those 2 games on steam?

I want to play battlefield 6, but on the oldest account which i want to link to steam instead of the one i currently have linked... If i were to unlink my current account and link the other one, is it for the better to just remove those 2 games from steam? And were i keep them on the EA app, or will they also get removed there or whatever?

I asked this a few days ago on the steam hub on reddit, but i didn't got much of a answer...

Thanks in regards and have a nice day/night.

Whenever EA checks to see if the linked account has a valid license, then yeah, obviously. It's not a one time deal. If it didn't work that way, the avenues for abuse are quite obvious.

You're not getting rid of games, you would still have them/have access to them, provided the appropriate accounts are linked up. If you want to use the games on the old EA account through Steam you need to link to the old account. If you want to use the games on the new EA account on Steam you need to link the new account.

From my perspective it's pretty straight forward, provided you look at it in the simplest terms: IE why would you link accounts at all? To access the games on the linked account.

So it just seems like you're complicating the issue talking about removing games and whatnot. Juggling accounts and licenses can be a hassle. And probably most game platforms aren't designed around doing that in conjunction with using a 3rd party launcher too, in this case Steam.

As phrased I think the answer is simple, whatever accounts you're logged into and linked to are the games you'll have access too. Since you can't link your Steam account to multiple EA accounts as far as I know, it's one or the other until you unlink and then link Steam to the alternate EA account.

If there's additional details I'm missing or you omitted, add them in.

Also there's nothing stopping you from testing out the behavior yourself is there? Yeah, might be a bit clunky and time consuming. And I'm not sure how EA will handle frequent switching, but the link from EA to Steam isn't permanent as far as I know.

Cool, thanks..

I'll try unlinking the current one and then relink the other one to see what happens..
