new scam on steam?

theres this guy out of nowhere told me that i bought his item for $1000 on steam market ( i didnt buy anything )
he then send me screenshot of me buying his item, he asked me to screenshot my market history to proof that i am not the one who bought it, he also told me that my account gonna be permanently suspended if i ignore his request. LOL

This type of scam introduction has been around for 12 years. Just report and block.

It's a scam. Don't send them anything.

yeah this scam has been around in many forms
once they tried to give me a “50 euro gift card” but it was fake just to steal credit card info
already saw a lot of people falling for things like that, best is just block and report
