Game Language Localization
Hi i have see that a lots of old games that haved in they original box version multiple language options, are in the store only in eng.
Can we have the proper multilanguages version please? the absurd fact is game like max payne that in my country case have a proper local version (so 2 version eng - other language) and obviously i have the eng one becouse the one with my national language have go out after. on steam :(.
There is a little list of games that have multy languages and we can get only on eng on steam: sacred, rainbow six vegas, drakensang, quake 4 ... and many others.
So please steam put multy languages version of games that have it.

You would have to contact publishers or developers of those games. They are the ones who provide game versions.

This is a Steam related sub-forum, to discuss using the steam online Services.

There are no valve / steam employees or staff, server techs, steam support, or moderators in this steam related sub-forum. No one in this USER - USER only sub-forum can help you.

Game related questions and suggestions and ideas need to be posted in that games own forum, or via the developer / publisher own website.

It's up to developers and publishers what languages the build they upload on Steam supports. You'll have to contact the developers or publishers of the game about bringing other language versions to Steam.

Do note that with older games, many localisations were made by local/regional publisher and rights to those localisations may still belong to them so getting them may not be as straightforward as it sounds. Also for many older games, localisations were entirely different builds of a game, not just individual language files game could load. The developer may not even posses copies of those different language builds if they were made bu local publishers.
