I don't see it as an insult, as I'm not offended by pixels on the screen.
And yet he has the irrefutable right to have that opinion!!!
And even if 2025 games don't apoeal to you there's decades of classics you haven't played. But doesn't sound like you're intrtested on those games either. Which is why I think this is a you're sick of your hobby problem, not a games problem.
Just that many people won't agree with his opinion.
Because I've never had so many games available I'd like to play.
People can get burnt off a hobby and leave it, happens to everyone, I've been there and done that.
I'd advise OP to look away and he may find more interesting stuff. We're often victim of our own biases and we miss good things because of our own prejudices.
But he's fine and dandy if he wants to leave. No sense in keep doing something you no longer find fun.
Don't let the door hit you on the way out.
Which is all well and good. . People like me keep finding more and more games to play.
