Stop News feed from opening links?
Recently when I click on a News feed item, the iOS app opens a webpage in safari if that is part of the news post. I’m carefully not selecting that thumbnail. I just want to read the post, not watch a video. If I did, I’d click on it.

I’ve looked around through settings, but don’t see anything to change this behavior. Did I miss something, or is that just the way it is (for now)?

Hi, this is a bug. The fix will be in the next app update. Thank you for reporting it.

This bug seems to have returned, and is now happening whenever I use the mobile app and browse my Friend Activity feed. Videos just forcibly open my browser now whenever I try to scroll by.

Same here for the last few days. I should have necro-ed my own thread :)

Similar issue, when I click on an announcement with a video link, it now opens the video automatically in safari. Super annoying.
