I’m Locked Out – Steam is Asking for a Mobile Authenticator I Never Set Up
Hello Steam Support,

I’m having trouble accessing my original Steam account.

I recently created a new Steam account on my phone and logged into it using the Steam Mobile Authenticator. Later, I logged into that new account on my PC as well.

After logging out of both accounts (on my phone and PC), I tried to log back into my original account, but Steam is now asking me for a mobile authenticator code, even though I never added one to my original account.

Now I’m locked out. I don’t have a phone number linked to that account, and I never set up the authenticator for it.

Please help me remove the Steam Mobile Authenticator from my original account or help me recover access. I can still access the email linked to the account and can verify that I’m the owner.
