Can vac ban you for having wemod installed?
I have Wii mod installed and am very aware. I guess you could say and don’t want my account to get banned because I have it enabled of course I’m not gonna use it on multiplayer but I’m still scared that when I connect to a VA server with we turned off, but it’s still installed that it will detect it in, my account for a Vac ban.

It depends, if you run it while playing @ official servers in game, you might get VAC banned cuz it is considered as a trainer, just make sure you close CS2 while launching such application, to avoid VAC banning yourself accidentally, as long the application doesn't hook with the CS2 process while CS2 is running, you're fine.

It's a trainer and trainers are cheats. Will VAC detect it's installed but turned off? Who knows?

I can almost guarantee you one thing though - there'll be a time that you forget to turn it off before connecting to a VAC enabled server. That will certainly get your account banned and send your stress levels sky high. Is it really worth using it at all?

No. WeMod must inject into a VAC enabled game's process memory in order to be banned, just like Cheat Engine.

The WeMod app even gives you a warning saying that if you get banned from use of the app, that's on you for trying to use it in a game that's has anti-cheats set up.
If you inject it into a VAC secured server you will be flagged for a VAC ban.

You have to click” the play button in wemod to inject into the game, and a unsupported game you can’t do that.

I've had WeMod installed for years now, as long as you're not injecting into a protected game you will be fine

does this go for every valve game running Vac? Some games I play like team fortress two Left for dead to and others. I want to know if they are safe to have it installed but not using.

not just vac. any anti cheat in any game can be triggered by wemod.

wemod is a trainer based off a crude .dll hook which will trip every anti cheat, and should trip every anti virus, too.

leaving it run is a bad idea imo, one wrong move and you get a permanent ban. thats the risk you accept using that thing & games with anti cheat.

Also even if it was ok why take risks? Best to play online games with a bare minimum of programs open on the background

Yep, it is safe to have it installed on your system but make sure you don't run it while playing those VAC protected games.

I seen that if launch the game thru wemod it will bypass everything but battle eye i think even then can on unofficial servers like lvl your guy up get gear but whenever you use it to kill people will get banned I noticed on games like coop can use them online but pvp is risky just takes 1 person making video taking a screen shot submitting a ticket I've never been banned for using them online games but I never tried killing someone with them yet
like only ok single player if person your playing with is ok with it can use it online in co op games or un oficail severs that allow it maybe dedicated not sure never tried dont want to get banned never hurts submit a ticket to the game ask what there policy if any loop holes
If you hook into it then it probably will, if not it should be fine. Though if you want to be safe you should avoid having it running at all when playing VAC secured games, on VAC secured servers. Since @Brujeira has a good point about forgetting and inadvertently getting yourself banned.
