Request to Remove VAC Ban in Connection with the Transition to CS2
Dear Steam and Valve Support Team,

I am writing to you regarding the VAC ban on my account, which was received while playing Counter-Strike: Global Offensive.

The essence of the problem:
* The ban was received in CS:GO
* Currently playing CS2
* Comply with all platform rules and terms of use

Reason for the appeal:
Due to the release of CS2 and the transition to the new version of the game, I would like to request a review of the ban decision. I believe that in the context of the game update and the transition to the new version, there are grounds to consider the possibility of lifting the restrictions.

I confirm:
* Ready to provide any necessary information
* Confirm that I have never used cheats
* Ready to undergo any additional verification

I request:
* Consider the possibility of reviewing the ban decision
* Take into account the transition to the new version of the game
* Provide a response based on the review results

I would appreciate careful consideration of my appeal. I am ready to provide additional information if required.

Best regards,
PiPiSoNdRa

VAC bans are permanent.

And it is seen as the SAME game.

The account did cheat or it would not be banned. An incorrect ban would have been removed AGES ago.

Ban is permanent. If you're going to copy and paste someone else's post then at least put your name in and not theirs:lunar2019laughingpig:

I stopped reading at "Request to Remove"

Your ban is going to stay on your account for the rest of your life, no matter what.. Make a new account and move on..

I guess you forgot to read this, huh?

Do bans in CS:GO carry over over to Counter-Strike 2?
Yes. VAC bans, game bans, and competitive cooldowns carry over from CS:GO to Counter-Strike 2.

Counter-Strike 2 is NOT a new game. It's an update to Counter-Strike Global Offensive.

WE request that you use the "info" button next to the red text on your profile. It's been there for years, and explains that VAC bans cannot be appealed OR removed by Steam Support.

Valve already DID take into consideration the new version of the game, that's why your account is still banned, aside of course from the fact that all VAC bans are permanent.

The VAC system already "reviewed" the ban on your account, as all VAC bans are checked automatically. It's still there. That means it was applied correctly, and remains permanent for the same game, which is CS2 over CS:GO. It's the same game, so same ban applies.

There is no problem.

Which means the ban is also for CS2.

See above.

Except for the ban. Which extends to CS2.

What you believe is entirely irrelevant, Valve choose to extend CS:GO bans to CS2. Technically it is the same game anyways, but even if it wasn't, it would not matter since the stance of Valve on this is clear.

Pointless.

Valve has all the information they need.

Super usefull, they will just take your word for your ban having happened by magic.

Originally posted by PiPiSoNdRa:

Yes, Valve is totally going to spend time and money to do whatever you mean by additional verification.

Yeah, I'm sure that will happen after 4+ years.

They have. That is why the bans on CS:GO extend to CS2.

Again, they totally will spend manpower and money on this. Absolutely they will, because your case is so super special.

If that was true the ban would have been removed by now.
