VAC
Hello, I was playing a game called Counter Strike 2, and I was banned, even though I never used any third-party software because I'm afraid of viruses. I bought a Prime account, and I'm wondering if there's any way to get my ban lifted after such a long time. I thought they would lift my ban because my friend was banned and later unbanned, but that wasn't the

That account is not VAC banned. Look at your profile.

brother I'm logging in to the game and there's a VAC ban, but it doesn't show up on my profile, you know

Look at your profile; there's nothing about a VAC ban.
So you don't have a vac ban.

It probably says something about VAC in-game, and you immediately panicked when you heard the word. You most likely have a VAC error:

Third time, you are not VAC banned. What shows on the profile is all that matters, no red letters means you are not banned

Edit: bro

But it can't just say "vac."
If you received an in-game message, write down what it says word for word.

I'm not at home right now, but in my game, there's a red bar at the top with the word "vac"

As I said, a real VAC ban is visible on your profile and only becomes invisible after 5 years. However, your account isn't even 5 years old, so the ban should be visible.

Otherwise, there's the following:
Game ban, but that should always be visible.
Cooldown, but that has nothing to do with a VAC.
VAC error, that's actually what you most likely have.

So I was given a wrong vac?

No, there isn't.

On a different note, you said you bought a Prime account, which brings me to two questions.
A) Do you mean just "bought Prime" or did you buy an account that has Prime?
B) Is the VAC ban on the account you used to create this topic, or are you talking about a different account?

I bought the prime for this account, and I'm writing from the account where I have the vac. If I didn't have it, I would have already sold the skin, but I didn't

And you haven't received any in-game notifications?

As I said, we can already rule out 3 out of 4 points, and it can't be a scam either.

If it really isn't a VAC error (which, to be honest, I still suspect), then the only option is to contact support.
They can't remove a VAC ban, but they have a better insight into your account than we normal users.

I haven't received any blocking messages, but which support should I contact from Steam?

no ban showing. even when using other things like external websites, no ban is showing. So either you got a Vac error/disconnected by Vac message or the other one, which i doubt, seeing you talking about vac, is global cooldown. Like other stated, best to read the full message.

But of course, here is the question, seeing you haven't played CS2 in the last 2 weeks, why create a thread now?
