CS2 game bans can be issued for, including but not exclusively:
* frequent irregular gameplay as detected by VACNet AI or by other means, this includes premade matchmaking with a cheater repeatedly or cheating committed by yourself,
* incessant griefing by verbal abuse, in-game physical abuse or other unsportsmanlike conduct,
* botting and automation,
* manipulation of matchmaker and rating,
* disruption of gameplay on the technical level (such as DDoS attacks or causing crashes)
CS2 game bans are both permanent and non-negotiable.
In accordance with Section 1 C of the Steam Subscriber Agreement, you are fully responsible for all actions on your account, no matter who used the account. This includes actions that occurred as the consequence of fraudulent account access by phishing or malware, be it input relay, session token theft or any other method that granted a third party access to your account.
No it wasn't hacked, at most you got hijacked after you were careless with your password and used it on non steam websites to trade skins.
saying "hacked" sounds like the perfect get out of jail for free card, but its not. nobody FORCED their way into your account. you pretty much gave them access when you used your password on non steam sites.
So, which was it?
1. you were careless with your password which allowed nefarious people to use your account to cheat, which means the guilt lies fully with you for not caring about account safety.
2. you cheated, which means the guilt lies fully with you.
