Valve Anti-Cheat (VAC) bans are PERMANENT and NON-NEGOTIABLE. Meaning that apologising means nothing and appealing is a pointless effort. After several years you should've been quite familiar with VAC related information already.

isnt it more likely you care about the value of the cases in your inventory and not really about the account itself

People scammed not knowing the account is banned or convinced by the seller that the ban can be removed by posting here or pestering support.
