I got game banned yet i have not been playing rust for the past year, i do not know how i got banned and would like to know why

Game bans are handled by the game's developers, ask them.

If it is that long since you got your ban it means your ban is permanent.

this is a community only forum and not an appeal forum. Rust dev's are very anti cheating, and bans in general are delayed, also it is irrelevant who used the account to play the game. I find it hard to believe that you didn't play the game, has you have about 20 hours in the game and you played in the last 2 weeks about 30 minutes.

i got the game in 2022 and the reason i have about 30 minutes in game is because i've been trying to join servers but it didn't let me so i searched up the reason why i can't join servers and found out for some reason i was banned.

EAC bans apply to the account even if it was hijacked at the time

The EAC ban cannot be removed regardless of who was using your account at the time it was banned.
