Today i got Vac banned and i was shocked i never used cheats i got hacked and banned on Rust now i gor randomly banned on cs:go thank you steam for banning me for no reason btw my last play CS:GO was 28.6 and i idk what can i do too

multiple gamebans. see post 3 with links to gameban by developer for rust and gameban CS2, rust devs are very anti cheating and for CS2 gamebans can be given for one of a few things, and NO, it will not be removed, irrelevant who used your account

Kids now want a ban on their profile so they can be gangsta about it, but not one caused by cheating because they think they can just appeal with a "I didn't cheat bro!" and get it removed when the fad goes away.

If you really want it I suggest talking to Xeonir for advice on that, he's the best there is on this matter. I can tell you though that VAC bans themselves require cheats or memory manipulation/injection in VAC secured games. Since VAC is AI powered you can't request them manually, you can only get them if the system flags you. Game bans are a different story entirely

You have multiple game bans. You dont have to use cheats to get game bans.

They aren't only for cheats. I myself got a vac ban years ago for using a memory editor to force custom skins in cs. They are skins only I can see so I really thought it wouldn't matter. Tried contacting support and they pretty much said that any modification that alters the behavior of VAC secured games results in a ban, cheating or not. Yeah, that was a certified oopsie on my part

Someone should've told me that years ago. Where were you? But yes it makes sense seeing at how cheats work under the hood. Kinda too late but lesson learned for me

We were all here and in the CS:GO game hub telling people that they are cheats all the way up until the day Valve added them to the list of cheats VAC scans for.

And those who said they weren't and would never be against the rules had to deal with the realization that their VAC bans were applied correctly and should have never trusted others on the forums that said otherwise.
