Request for Review of Account Ban and Appeal for Reinstatement

Hello,

I am writing to request a review of a ban that was placed on my Steam account in 2017 while I was actively playing CS:GO. At the time, I received a suspicious link from one of my Steam friends. Unfortunately, after clicking it, my account was compromised despite having Steam Guard enabled.

Following this incident, I believe unauthorized access was gained to my account, and cheats were used without my knowledge or consent—something I strongly oppose. Shortly after the ban occurred, I successfully recovered my account, which can be verified from your records. The timing of the recovery aligns closely with the date the ban was imposed.

I sincerely request that you review the circumstances surrounding this incident. I’ve taken steps to secure my account since then and would be grateful for the opportunity to regain access to play CS2.

VAC as old as yours is permanent.

It doesn't matter who is responsible for the VAC ban; it's your account and therefore subject to your security, and as you yourself admitted, you failed to fulfill that responsibility.

Your ban is therefore still permanent and cannot be removed.

Why didn't you inform yourself about this? After all, you had eight years to do it.

ban is permanent, this is not a ban appeal forum, using a chat AI will not get your ban removed, using some copy/paste ban appeal will not get the ban removed. cs2 game and vac bans are PERMANENT with no appeal option

you are responsible for the security of your account. it does not matter who was in control of it. click the INFO link on your profile and read it

I hope it was an expensive lesson not to buy Steam accounts.
