3560 day old vacban and this is the first time you asking about it. No steam support here and vacbans are for cheating, irrelevant of who used the account. If the ban was incorrect then it would have been removed within couple hours to a month or two after you got it automatically.
vacban - https://steamhost.cn/help_steampowered_com/en/faqs/view/647C-5CC1-7EA9-3C29
Can I appeal my VAC ban?
No. VAC bans cannot be appealed. If a VAC ban is issued incorrectly it will be automatically removed after investigation, but Steam Support does not manually remove VAC bans applied to accounts for any reason.
I was not using my account when it was VAC banned. Can the ban be removed?
No. Any bans added to an account will remain regardless of who was using the account at the time the infraction occurred. Ultimately, the use and security of your Steam account are your responsibility.
While we understand this can be frustrating, we must maintain a zero tolerance policy for cheating to foster a fair game that all players will enjoy.
A truly meaningless and useless reply. I haven't mentioned anything about my ban for 3560 days because I already know everything you just listed(as I mentioned in the original post). I am simply venting my frustration with what happened. It's as if you only read the first sentence of my post and then started going off on a tangent about VAC bans in general. If you want to give useful information or reply to someone with your opinion, at least try reading the post in its entirety first.
better yet, read the vac threads and information given, yes you can vent, but the ban is still permanent. keep in mind other users will give the same information i'm giving. yes you do say that you know that there is nothing can be done about the ban, yet you are posting it with the hopes of steam support seeing your thread, see my first post regarding support
whole long story, yet you have the hopes that steam support or someone will see your thread to remove your ban, see the information JacquesPatat gave in first post. And seeing you don't like the information given, why post in the first place? I don't believe one minute you posted the thread to vent
Ok so you pretty much pointed out that you hoping that steam support comes across your thread (seeing you contradicting yourself). And what exactly do you want steam support or anyone from Valve to do, when they come across your thread, besides giving the information what you say, you know about.
One of the main issues is that VAC bans in MW2 (2009) are permanent and cannot be removed, even if the player believes they were wrongfully banned. This has led to a significant number of players being unable to participate in the multiplayer mode of the game, despite having no intention of cheating. Additionally, some players have reported that their Steam accounts were flagged or affected by these bans, even if they did not own the game.
There have also been reports of VAC bans being issued for seemingly trivial reasons, such as using a trainer to unlock content or modifying game settings. In some cases, players were banned for being in the same lobby as a hacker, even if they had no control over the situation. This has raised concerns about the fairness of the VAC system and its ability to distinguish between legitimate players and cheaters.
Despite these issues, VAC bans in MW2 (2009) are still active, and the game remains one of the most frequently cited examples of VAC-related controversies on Steam. Some players have attempted to bypass VAC bans by joining hacked lobbies or using third-party software, but these methods are considered illegal and can result in further penalties. The situation has led to calls for better anticheat systems and more transparent policies from both Valve and Activision.”
Nothing but a long overused excuse.
Yes, it's so hard to google cheats and download them. If you can figure out how to create an account on Steam, buy and download a game..... You can download a cheat.
you still did something though im sick of these sob stories
