Vac wrong ban
Hello,

I am extremely frustrated and disappointed after receiving a competitive cooldown in CS2. I did not cheat, I did nt abandon any match, and I did nt break any rules. Yet I was punished as if I did.

The real issue is that someone else on my teamwas using cheats, and **I had absolutely no control over that**. Why should I or any innocent player be punished because of another player's behavior?

This system is clearly flawed. It discourages fair players like me who just want to enjoy the game. I strongly urge you to review this case. I did nothing wrong and being given a cooldown like this is completely unfair.

Please fix this. It’s demotivating and unfair to honest players.

What is the EXACT message you're seeing in-game? It's likely a VAC error or competitive cooldown. Not a ban.

Hi, thanks for your reply.
I checked my account again — you're right, there's no VAC or game ban.
But I did receive a competitive cooldown until August 2nd, and it's frustrating because I didn’t do anything wrong.

It seems like someone on my team was using cheats, and the system gave the whole team a cooldown.
I’m a legit player and never used any cheats, so this kind of punishment feels really unfair.
Is there any way to appeal or report this?

Figures... Competitive Cooldowns are not bans. See the FAQ linked below for information.

Additionally if you suspect or know another player is cheating. Report them.
