Recently I was playing CS, and around 6 PM I went to visit some relatives. I came back home at 2 AM and opened Steam, only to find that I had received a VAC ban. That day, I only played one Wingman match and spent a bit of time in Aim Botz.

I always report cheaters, but it seems like nothing happens to them — instead, even more cheaters show up. Meanwhile, VAC didn't catch any actual cheaters and ended up banning me for no reason.

I contacted Steam Support, and they said "You received an Overwatch ban; we will forward your case to the CS team." But no one ever got back to me. I messaged them again today and still haven't received a response.

What should I do? Do false bans ever get lifted?
