That ban is correct or it would've been automatically removed a LONG time ago, it will never be removed.

VAC bans are permanent, non-negotiable, and cannot be removed by Steam Support....and also cannot be removed by anyone on this forum.

VAC bans are delayed from the time of the detection to the time that the ban is actually applied. What you were doing when the ban was applied, is irrelevant.

Why the account was banned:

all VAC bans come from the detection of a known cheat, whether it is used on the account itself or some sort of sharing has occurred (account, library, or phone number).

Users are responsible for the security of the account and all activity on the account.

To get a VAC ban, you must have a cheat on the PC you're using, so the friend excuse doesn't count.

Almost 1,500 days and you never had time to even read the VAC ban information in your profile?

The first sentence:
VAC bans are permanent, non-negotiable, and cannot be removed by Steam Support.

if the ban was incorrect then it would have been removed within couples hours to a month or two after you got it, definitely not close to 1500 days. But because you admitted that your "friend" cheated on your profile then the ban is correct and cannot be appealed

Can I appeal my VAC ban?
No. VAC bans cannot be appealed. If a VAC ban is issued incorrectly it will be automatically removed after investigation, but Steam Support does not manually remove VAC bans applied to accounts for any reason.

I was not using my account when it was VAC banned. Can the ban be removed?
No. Any bans added to an account will remain regardless of who was using the account at the time the infraction occurred. Ultimately, the use and security of your Steam account are your responsibility.

While we understand this can be frustrating, we must maintain a zero tolerance policy for cheating to foster a fair game that all players will enjoy.

Are you aware that your post history is visiable?

Remember your post in the BattleBit Remastered forums where you admitted to cheating and said the ban was intentional?

I didn't say that. I said you admitted in that forum that you cheated and that the ban was intentional.

reread the message again. it does not say "you have associated with a hacker". try posting it WORD FOR WORD

all accounts with the same phone number will be banned at the same time if any of them cheat.

At least your lifetime ban does not get easier to accept over time apparently. It will stay as a splinter in your mind.

Someone else cheating, does not get your account banned unless you were sharing phone numbers, libraries, or accounts

You do know that using accounts that are not yours is worse than any type of ban, right?
