Appeal for @TweekCSGO – Ban Triggered by Console Command Use
Dear Steam Support,

I am writing to respectfully request a review of the recent ban issued on the Steam account which belongs to the YouTuber known as @TweekCSGO.

This account belongs to a well-known Russian YouTuber who creates educational and experimental content related to CS:GO. In the video linked below, he demonstrates the use of the console command "m_yaw inf", which is a built-in developer command used solely for demonstration and testing purposes. The video is intended to showcase in-game mechanics and does not involve any external software, cheats, or malicious manipulation of the game.

🔗 YouTube video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aC5APPzr5-w
🔗 Steam profile: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/id/olj

It is important to emphasize that this command is available in the game’s own console and does not give the user any real advantage. The intention behind the video was educational and aimed at informing players, not violating the game’s terms of service or fair play guidelines.

Given the transparency of the video, the lack of malicious intent, and the educational context, I kindly ask you to reconsider this ban. The creator has a clean record and a strong standing in the community, and I believe this may have been a misunderstanding.

Thank you for your time and consideration. I trust in your fairness and thorough review process.

Sincerely,

Mikael Verdiyan / Verd1cte / moneyskiy

There is no one from Valve here and they don't accept appeals for bans in their games for any reason.

Also this guy has a GAME ban for almost a year. At this point it's nigh impossible for it to be incorrect... :TiredAisha:

This isn't Steam support. This is Steam discussions... :steamfacepalm:

YOU CANNOT APPEAL ANOTHER USER'S GAME BAN.

This forum is not for ban appeals either.. Since neither VAC nor game bans can be appealed.

Somehow I doubt the use of console commands lead to the ban, However it's been years since I've played Counter Strike. -- I don't know and I don't really care either.

Did you look at the profile at all?

1 game ban on record | Info
332 day(s) since last ban
1 Game ban on record from over 330+ days. Correctly applied and permanent.

Not your account, Not your responsibility... Move along now.

Neither the game ban system or the VAC ban system cares about the reason why any account was caught doing something ban-worthy.

the user can't reach steam support here.

no need to spread a fake story about the console.

its time to just accept that one's 'friend' will be banned until the end of existence.

tell 'your friend' to be better. Stop breaking the rules, or stop playing. 👍
