Appeal VAC Ban in CS2 – My PC was compromised
Hello Steam Support,

I recently received a VAC ban in Counter-Strike 2 on my account. I want to clarify that I have never used cheats or third-party software of any kind. Unfortunately, I believe my PC was compromised by malicious software or remote access, and unauthorized activity may have occurred without my knowledge.

I am an active streamer on Twitch, and fair gameplay is extremely important to me. My reputation as a content creator depends on integrity, and I would never risk it by using any unfair advantage. I’m happy to provide a link to my Twitch channel and any other information that may support my case.

Since the incident, I’ve secured my system: changed all my passwords, scanned for malware, and enabled two-factor authentication.

Please consider reviewing this case and investigating the account activity during the time the violation occurred. I sincerely hope for a fair and detailed review.

Thank you for your time and understanding.

click the INFO link on your profile, read it. it does not matter who was in control of the account.
You need to contact directly to the steam support.
Seems that you have been banned 136 days ago which is not legal case.
In case of wrong block it can be removed automatically by the system.
Now in case of authorization from another device account should automatically have community ban if it wasn't considered bu you.

In all cases contact support for further information.

If you used the other account to cheat then that would likely be why.

Cheating isn't the only way to earn a game ban.

1. act bad in the game
2. get banned for it
3. wow! must have been a hacker i guess?
The ban is not a VAC ban, so the user should read the FAQ link properly.

Anything that happens when your account is compromised is your fault because you're expected to know how to keep it safe.

1 game ban on record | Info
138 day(s) since last ban

whole long story, by the looks of it a chatgpt essay. Streamer, lol, we all know thats a lie seeing you waited 138 days before making this thread. gamebans for CS2 can be given for one of a few things and its permanent. FYI this is a community only forum and not an appeal forum. If you haven't figured it out, irrelevant who used the account, ban stays. Or you can ask chatgpt what permanent means

Why are game bans issued?
Game bans in Counter-Strike 2 are issued when a player attempts to circumvent or interfere with game systems to the detriment of others.

Examples include:
Cheating.
Manipulation of matchmaking rank by deranking or falsely increasing your Skill Group or Counter-Strike Rating.
Botting and/or automation.
Intentionally interfering with the normal operation of game servers or other players.
Game Bans for all of the above are not removed by Steam Support.

Can you tell me why I was game banned?
No. We do not disclose the reason for your game ban.

Whether you were using cheat software, automating matchmaking, or abusing matchmaking the reason a game ban was issued is not shared with users.

Can I appeal my game ban?
No. Game bans cannot be appealed and are not removed from accounts.

I was not using my account when it was game banned. Can the ban be removed?
No. Regardless of who was using the account at the time the ban was issued, game bans are permanent and are not removed.

Can I move my Counter-Strike 2 items to a different account?
No. Counter-Strike 2 items cannot be moved from a game banned account to a different account.

Can I upload content to the Counter-Strike 2 Workshop and Community with a Counter-Strike 2 game ban?
No. You cannot upload new content, such as guides, artwork, or Workshop items to the Counter-Strike 2 Community if you have been game banned.

Can I vote on Counter-Strike 2 Steam Workshop content with a Counter-Strike 2 game ban?
No. Counter-Strike 2 game bans prevent voting within the Counter-Strike 2 Workshop.
