you are responsible for the security of your account. it does not matter who was in control of it. the ban is PERMANENT. steam support will be unable to assist you, they have nothing to do with game or vac bans.
yea i get it but the stem didnt inform me about any activity on my acc how am i supposed to know when to change password for example and i also had 2fa enabled and nothing not even an email came

2fa is not a magic shield that stops everything. it is like body armor, it provides extra protection. it will stop some stuff, but it wont stop everything. you need to figure out how someone got into your account.

No, it was not. using your password on non steam sites where they can intercept it does not equal hacking.
neither does falling for a phishing scheme.

Than sou cant say its my security that i didnt secure. Just get the logic behind it, the security that was needed to prevent an attack was there and it didnt stop that man to use my acc.

But you're still the weak point.
How would a "hacker" know which code you have that's only valid for 30 seconds?

It's almost always the people who play CS, because they either enter their data on some website (trading or free items) or they fall for links like "vote for my team."

It's virtually impossible for someone to get your data without doing anything. Even Steam only stores your password as a hash, and if someone were to actually perform this miracle, do you really think they'd grab a virtually worthless account like yours instead of the truly valuable ones?

1 game ban on record | Info
25 day(s) since last ban

7 games and almost 4 year old profile. If and i do mean if your profile was compromised, then it comes down to a few things and being "hacked" is not one of those things. Account security is the steam user responsibility as valve gives over enough security for you to use. I have seen and i'm sure i can say this for other users, have seen enough users who claim their account was "hacked" but in turn the user login detail was compromised somewhere either by you logging in somewhere where it is not steam or your login details was phished, just to name a few.

gamebans especially if its for any valve game is permanent and cannot be removed. FYI this is a community only forum and not an appeal forum

As i was sayin man, i havent played cs for like a year now, i opened steam yesterday after few months and found out it was attacked. Idk why me, the acc is useless to everyone, i never put my password anywhere, i signed to trading website only once for free creates and it was verified website + it was a year or more before.
You agreed to accept responsibility for all activity on the account.

If you no longer agree to this responsibility, you are at liberty to end your contract with Valve and uninstall Steam from your system.

"verified" or not, personally i found those sites are not exactly good places, and it is most likely place where your profile was compromised. even i know when those people get your login details, they don't always login straight away, they take their time to login and use your profile.

Well keep thinkin whatever you want about not being hacked, steam confirmed my acc was in use of someone else. And i say it again i didnt fully use steam for a year to shop, login somewhere etc.

As I said, that would be a miracle and therefore impossible.

No one can access this data without your intervention, especially since there is no "verified website." Valve even specifically warns that any use of such sites is at your own risk and that you should only use Steam's trading function.

The fact that you haven't logged in for a while or anything else doesn't matter, by the way; there have been people on the forum who have disclosed their data and only lost access to their account much later.

And as I said, if someone were really to perform such a miracle, why would they target your account when there are thousands or millions of accounts worth more than yours?

Just because someone had access to your account is not proof of hacking.
