VAC BAN RUST
Please unban me. I didn't play this game on my account. I was hacked, and it's not my fault that my account has weak security and can be easily hacked. Someone hacked my account a few years ago, played 4 hours of RUST with cheats, and then left. When I restored my account, I found out that I had been banned. You can check which city I entered the game from, which computer I used, and you promised to check it, but nothing has changed. I've never used cheats in my life, and I even buy the Sims game on Steam with add-ons because I've never used anything pirated. Please unban me! It's not fair! Provide evidence that I'm the one who played the game, not the person who hacked my account. By the way, you have the evidence of the hack in your system, and you helped me get my account back. I'm really hoping for a fair decision from you.

if the ban is for rust, you appeal it with who ever issued the ban. many games have the same policy - account cheats, account gets banned, does not matter who was in control of the account. RUST follows this policy.

Rust uses Easy Anti Cheat. EAC bans are permanent.[support.facepunchstudios.com]EAC bans can be appealed, but the grant of an appeal is very unlikely.[www.easy.ac]

Do not try to rebuy Rust on a new account. EAC bans by HWID.

I didn't even enter any of my personal information, so how did they manage to hack my account? My account is protected in every possible way, which means it's not secure enough! And because of the hack, I've been sitting on my account for over 6 years with a shameful lock, and there's nothing I can do about it. Everyone just ignores it, and I can't even sell my account to a collector because of this lock. There's no insurance for account hacks, and no one even checks for cheats. They just ban you and mark your account as inactive. A disgusting attitude towards players. I really love my account, I put my whole soul into it, and I'm annoyed by this disgusting attitude towards customers!

account selling is a violation of the SSA and grounds for the account to be permanently locked or terminated.

you failed to keep the log in secured. you have to figure out how you gave away the log in information. all 3rd party sites are USE AT OWN RISK. you are responsible for what is on the computer. if there was malware that stole you log in, that is on you.

1. You are lying out of your entire being, you know very well that there are no such thing as Steam hackers, the only way people get hijacked (not hacked) is if they are careless with their password by using it on non Steam skin trading sites (we call them scam sites for a reason)

2. I knew you were fishy, but thanks for showing us that you are indeed into forbidden stuff like account buying/selling.

Just admit that you bought the account with hopes of selling the skins it came with. we've seen thousands of your kind here and they all get the same answer. "All bans are permanent and nothing you say will get the ban removed."

With points like this, anyone can guess what's going wrong here; it couldn't be more obvious :steamfacepalm:

Your game ban is permanent and irremovable, and that's a good thing.

you don't have a vacban but a gameban. Rust uses EAC and not VAC. Rust devs are very anti cheating. FYI this is a community only forum and not an appeal forum
