Valve Needs to Seriously Improve Its Anti-Cheat System
Valve is one of the biggest companies in the gaming world, with hugely successful titles like Counter-Strike, Dota 2, and Team Fortress 2. However, one of the biggest issues these games—especially Counter-Strike—still face is the overwhelming presence of cheaters. Unfortunately, the current detection system, VAC (Valve Anti-Cheat), has proven to be ineffective against the constant evolution of cheating methods.

Nowadays, it’s common to encounter players using aimbots, wallhacks, and other types of cheats even in casual or ranked matches. This completely ruins the experience for honest players. Many eventually give up on the game out of frustration, which harms the community and damages the game’s reputation.

Valve needs to invest more in modern technologies like real-time anti-cheat systems, machine learning, and possibly even partnerships with cybersecurity companies to deal with this issue more effectively. Transparency about anti-cheat actions and faster, more visible punishments would also go a long way in restoring trust.

If Valve wants to keep its player base active and satisfied, fighting cheaters must become a priority. The quality of a game is directly tied to fairness and competitiveness—and that can only be ensured with a more modern and effective anti-cheat system.

Reputation doesnt matter. There are no online fall or like that. If you care - try alternatives. At least, 2 of ur games have alternatives without cheaters. But let be honest - you dont care, you playing only for skins, not for ur mind safety or getting fun (and i really cant imagine how's peoples blame hackers pool but keep playing, again and again, like addicted). So, keep discussing and keep playing. Gl, maybe next match will be better (NO).

Its possible to bypass even Kernel level anticheat , you need to change people thinking, not infinitely improve anticheat

Which will never happen, therefore the only solution is to cease playing fundamentally flawed games like those of online PvP variety. Or don't and keep on having a bad time.

The choice is yours.

My friend, you completely misunderstood the whole point of the story. I can buy the skin I want, the way I want it, and whenever I want it. And your logic says that you would be happy to be cheated by a merchant every day. It doesn't work that way and not everyone plays for the competition. In the past, no matter what CS mode I played, I was usually first or second. Even now when I play seriously, I can achieve that result. And do you know how I play? I'm half lying in a chair and holding one hand in my lap. Chris saw the photo. Make some effort and watch DM and tell me if that's normal? There used to be cheaters, but these days it's anything but normal. This is a flood of cheaters.
