Bans are delayed, what you did or didn't before the ban was applied is irrelevant.

Ban is permanent, create a new account and move on, no value lost.

two things for you, first is that you have a gameban and not a vacban, secondly bans are delayed. then lastly i take it, it is for a valve game, then it is permanent
