Nope, ban that old is 100% correct. It won't ever be removed. That's the danger of buying accounts. Aside of possibility of getting all your accounts terminated that is.

Well, alright. Your ban is permanent either way. No one ever got their ban removed by posting here. Steam support can't remove bans too. Your items will stay safe in your inventory forever.

You dont get VAC banned for toxicity or disputes with other players.

We have seen a wave of people asking about old bans. Like really old bans. Like 11 years old for example. And those people have never made any posts before.

That looks a lot like people buying accounts because of inventories. And they always ask about the inventories too. And have strange explanations for the ban, like disputes with other players, something that has no influence on VAC whatsoever.

Does that mean you bought that account? No. But it sure does look like a pattern.

In any case, that ban is never going to go anywhere.

Well, I did. It literally says ''too problematic'' (translated from my main language). I think it might have been a Overwatch ban? maybe, but I don't know why it got to VAC when the reason is a dispute.

If you got banned by both Overwatch and VAC, you got caught cheating by 2 different anticheats. That's pretty much confirms this account or a phone linked/family shared one cheated.

Ni idea, no es mi caso. Incluso sé que no hay probabilidad de unban pero quería ver que opinaba la gente de casos como este. Me parece injusto un ban permanente de un anti cheat por disputas, o sea nada que ver con la existencia del VAC. Tengo hasta un screenshot que dice ''Muy problematico'' en la razón del VAC.

VAC bans are for cheating. Nothing else. If no cheats were detected, you would have a game ban. It would still be permanent and you still won't have ability to trade your items.

It's not "very unlikely". It's impossible.

And as mentioned, ban that old is 100% correct. Incorrect VAC bans are removed in a matter of weeks. You claiming you didn't cheat doesn't change the fact, that you are banned for cheating.

If people believed in sincerity of cheaters, no one would ever be banned, because they "didn't cheat".

Again, VAC doesn't ban for anything but cheats. You could have been overwatch banned, then VAC banned later but if that's so then cheats were definitely detected on the account

Hi. This account is old and the VAC ban applied to it was like 10 year ago (2015), so I was forced to create another account and buy the game back then and leave this account behind. Recently I remembered the account because I knew this account is allowed to play Premier (if I hipotetically didn't get banned). Here's the deal: I've NEVER used cheats or any other third-party software. The reason written is that I was too problematic (that's the literal reason) but I think it's unfair getting banned from an anticheat forever when I, in fact, never did. As I recall it was just a dispute between me and another person in a competitive CSGO match (swearing and such) and hours after I got VAC banned. Do you guys think this account can get unbanned? considering I actually didn't cheat, I just think its unfair and can't even trade my items in the inventory :(

4,049 day old ban and this is the first time you've posted about it (or anything else for that matter)?

I hope it was an expensive lesson to learn not to buy Steam accounts.

That ban is correct or it would've been automatically removed a LONG time ago, it will never be removed.


VAC bans are permanent, non-negotiable, and cannot be removed by Steam Support.

Why was I VAC banned?
VAC bans are applied when an account, or an account using the phone number tied to other accounts, connects to a VAC-secured server while running cheat software.

Valve Anti-Cheat regularly checks the game files of all users connected to Valve's servers to ensure third party software is not being used which gives players an advantage. If software of this kind is detected a VAC ban will be issued.
