the reason is, the account holder is responsible for all action taken, in control or not.

it always amazes me that people continue to use the same old reasoning like my family member or friend used my account or my account was hacked or one of the 100's of common excuses and that they think because of it, the ban will be magically lifted because the original user didn't use the account.

Hate to break it to you, but its irrelevant who used the account and you have a gameban. If its for CS2 then it can be given for one of a few things and its permanent, also bans are delayed, so for all you know, it was you who most likely the one breaking the rules. FYI this is a community only forum and not an appeal forum
