There are plenty of people who run LTSC (or even older versions of Windows) and play VAC-protected games like CS2, Dota, TF2, etc. without any issues. The “unauthorized” part of LTSC just means Microsoft doesn’t market it to consumers, but it’s still legit Windows with the same security updates.
As long as you’re not running cheat software or shady third-party tools that hook into the game, you’re safe. Switching to LTSC won’t trigger a false ban.
