Hey Dudes ^^ I love my windows Phone since Lumia 800 now i take my good money (its not much) and got quality for this ....the name of my new Electricgirlfriend is Lumia 930 and i dont like the hype about android and wtf i dont want to say this name ^^ why they dont make more apps for our Windows Phone ?

Thinking about directly contacting Gabe Newell about bringing Steam to Windows Phone. I know he isn't the biggest fan of his former employer anymore due to the direction he believes they are taking with Windows 8, but I want him to know that there is demand for a Steam app for Windows Phone to go along with the Android and iOS apps.

Now your avatar can be a Me tile, too. Only supports WP8 though, but the only things it requires are a WVGA, HD720P or WXGA screen, so it should work on anything from a Lumia 520 to HTC 8X to Lumia 1020.

So far there is no official Steam app for Windows Phone, or some that will allow us to do what others presume from your iOS and Android devices.
Windows Phone users lack the ability to chat with friends, market, running in the background, reports, workshop, items, discussions. And third-party apps that currently exist only include profiles, games, and chat on paid versions.
In the Steam forum there are many "Topics" about users who require an app for their devices with Windows Phone.
This is why we need an official app for Steam both Windows Phone 7 and 8.

I just acquired a Lumia 920 and it is kinda appalling that Steam does not have an app for Windows Phone 8. I would very much like to see one. As a couple of people mentioned in a forum thread, lots of people are using *non-official* apps in order to access Steam Chat. And seriously, Valve, you would agree that using a thid-party app in order to access your services is a potential security risk and will probably generate a lot of stolen accounts and extra unnecessary work for your customer service. So please, release a Windows Phone app, it is good for everybody involved.

Just got my Nokia Lumia 920, beautiful piece of tech. Not sure this group will ever catch Valve's attention. Still, it already has more members than the other two completely dead groups. Would the admin here ever consider making this a group that annouces WP news/game reviews? We need something like that badly.

I hope they bring steam to windows phone, Because im gonna get a windows phone someday and im gonna want steam on there :P
