Make new Flexes to SMD with existing VTA (flexes)
I'm trying to add more flexes to a model that already has flexes, to make smile and grin work, since the character only has sad and angry flexes.
So i'm trying to import the VTA to blender on the SMD. I can see my modified Flexes and the original flexes are there too, but on export my custom flexes are removed.

What is going on?

Do you mean after expor or after compile? Your QC may be set up incorrectly.

Well, im sure the QC is correct, cause i followed a guide on it and successfully made it for a scratch-made model. But the issue seems to be when trying to "add" to existing flexes (VTA).
But to answer your question, its in the compile with crowbar it says : - Rule for unknown flex "name". might still be the QC but their lines are identical to the vanilla ones and names are 100% correct.

After closer inspection, more points towards the vta file itself.
Opened it in notepad++ and its correct most of the time but blender seems to have made some pretty weird changes. but my flexes are there, by changes i mean, leaving out spaces etc. cant find any missing info. Do you think thats it?

"Rule for unknown flex" means you have not made the flex lines in the QC properly.

back to QC again, removing the " %"name"" in the QC seems to alteast make it compile, But the names in both flexcontroller "name" and the flexpair "name" are still there. Options ARE in model viewer or SFM but no effect.. But the %"name" can it be fixed? or is the error deeper in the smd itself?

Maybe its something to do with the way i try to edit the flexes?

Never done it before over another so here it goes, in blender i import SMD, then import VTA. It gives me the smd_reference (that is correct) can also see the flexes in the model too, but their not normal, their like greyed out, i can still move them, but not like it should, its only on/off it seems, while on a propper working model its gradient slider from 0 - 1. is my way of importing vta wrong? maybe i should not import vta at all, and just make changes to the model, then export vta, then copy paste those lines into the original vta? gonna try now.
