Model animations problem
Hello! I have a problem with my model. ALL WEiGHTS are normal but animations make a model in something terryfing and IDK how to fix this thing. Anybody can help me with my problem?

That's probabily because the bones in the reference model are not rotated the right way. Did you bind the model to the Valvebiped Skeleton, or did you simply rename them?

Oh. This is my exported bones. I renamed them. How to fix this? I will be very glad if you help me. This is my first try to do own bones on source engine. This problem may reappear in the future with other people and they can check this discussion.

The first step I would do is to import the skeleton from the male hl2 model. First, install source SDK, found by going to your library, hovering over "games" or whatever it is set to, which is located where the search bar is. Then click tools. Scroll down until you see "Source SDK" make sure it just says that. Install, then run the program. After running your program, head to the steamapps directory and locate the "sourcesdk_content" folder, (Default Location: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\sourcesdk_content" Then go "hl2\modelsrc\humans_sdk" And import male_sdk\male_06_reference.smd.
