Unable to compile (aka another Traceback error)
I'll try to explain as best as I can what I'm trying to do:

Basically I'm porting models from an old game called Gothic to Garry's Mod.
I'm using Blender 2.66 and addon version 2.1.0
(I know it's old Blender but I need another addon to open Gothic models and the last supported version is for Blender 2.66)

I'm pretty sure Im doing something wrong but whenever I click "Export", "Compile All Now" I get these errors: https://imgur.com/a/u34go1B
Now, clicking Export does actually export the files, but I still get the error.

I tried reinstalling the addon, as you may guess that did not help. I also searched other threads here but nothing seems to work.

pls help and thank you ♥

Try getting the model from the older Blender into newest Blender somehow (using different file formats, if needed, or maybe via blend file itself). Then, use the latest Blender Source Tools for export in the newest Blender.

When you point BleST at the folder your QC is in it should create a button with the name of the QC on it. Use that button, not the Compile All button.

I tried it too, same errors appear when I use this button.

Or make sure you have the proper version of BleST for Blender 2.66 installed, if you have a version newer than 2.1.0, you're going to get errors like this.

Or as Zeq suggested, you can load a blend file created in Blender 2.66 into the newest version of Blender with little to no consequences just by opening the blend file in the newer version.

hmmm that's actually smart and it kinda worked.
Now I have different errors tho:

is there something wrong with my QC file? or maybe I should point engine to Half-Life 2 /bin instead of Gmod?
thanks for help

You have mesh in the model that has not been assigned to a material or the material has not been assigned to a texture. (this is normal coming out of an older version because of the material system rewrite in the newer version and the materials not using nodes),

Select the 4 objects, go into edit mode - face select mode then start selecting mesh from the materials tabs. When you've finished selecting the mesh, the left over faces are the ones you need to assign to a material. Once they are assigned, re export and recompile.
