Blender does not recognize materials in .smd
When I import a .smd file to blender (yes, it's a addon), the textures are not rendered, it's like the material is not applied and I need to add 1 node for each texture and it's too much work.. is there another way?

with other formats, for example .obj, it is not necessary to add nodes, blender perfectly recognizes the textures

Textures can be stored anywhere, named anything, and are not part of the model.

Each material is imported, but it is up to you to provide textures files and/or shader settings.
