DMX Animation does not match correctly to armature in blender
I wanted to get animations for Lucan's shapeshifter form from Dota 2. I downloaded the fbx file via dota 2 tool and imported the model to Blender with default setting of FBX import.

After that, I exported the DMX file of one of animations for my model through the filmmaker and imported it to Blender with default import settings.

And I gat warning - "Animation.dmx contains 87 bones not present in Armature.". Which means that there are not enough bones in the armature of the character. How can this be if I use the same model when exporting .fbx and .dmx file with animation?

Video showing the problem - https://youtu.be/Dw7K0qFXOvg
Version of Blender - 3.0

Looks like the up axis differs? Try changing that setting on the import file select screen.

I'm not afraid that in the animation the pose as a whole changes orientation, it's fixable. But look at the animation itself. It's like half of the information about the animation got lost along the way.

At least if we look at the laps, we will see that they are not animated at all, as if they were made of wood. And here the problem is not in orientation, but in something else.

if you use dmx format, the model should face to -x axis.
and the target up axis shoud be y axis
when u export mesh or anims, u need to rotate your mesh or anims to fit the above options.
