How do I add an animation to an armature?
I tried to import the idle animation from a decompiled oil drum physics prop model, because apparently every model requires at least one sequence unless it's a static prop, and there was just one bone, a pose, and an animation attached to the armature. I would've expected this to be easy to figure out on my own, but it seems not even the official Blender manual mentions it.

It's a physics prop, not a static prop. I already knew static props don't need sequences, I literally mentioned it in this discussion.

Export mesh, apply it as sequence as well

Wait, is it really that simple? I just have to use the base mesh for an idle animation?
