BST .dmx animation issues
Hey there

Recently I've been experimenting with creating animations in Blender and bringing them into Source Filmmaker with only a .dmx file

There are two issues I'm stuck on though

1. Even though I tell the export that Y is up, the imported animation reorients the model to face down

2. The imported keyframes multiply by 40 when they should ONLY be 24 frames

Does anyone know how to fix these?

You need to match the up axis of the model you are animating. If you aren't sure what that is, just experiment.

I don't know about the keyframe issue, this is likely to be something that you can configure in SFM.

Found a workaround which has fixed the up axis issue

Been going through options in Source Filmmaker and there are NONE that relate to this frame multiplication. How does dmx handle animation data?
