Exporting animated flex controls
Hey there

Could animating flex controls in a third-party program (3dsMax, Maya, Blender, etc..) be written onto a dmx file, which then could be either used in a source mod or Source Filmmaker?

The TF2 Trifecta and another Source 2 Blender addon now create the necessary flex controllers

In a game, no. That's not supported.

In Source Filmmaker, yes in principle. But because the animation data format for Source Filmmaker is different from that of games, the Blender Source Tools intentionally don't target it. It's too confusing to have both at the same time.
