Importing CS GO animations
Recently I've been trying to decompile Counter Strike: Global Offensive animations using Crowbar and then importing them into blender using Source Tools. Unfortunately I have been having problems with specific animations which I think were meant to be layered. Whenever I import them into Blender, they don't animate. They just bring in an armature or append to another armature that was already there. But they do not animate when I press play. The animations from the player models themselves usually work, but the main ones in ct_animations and t_animations do not for some reason. I don't know if it's a problem with Crowbar, Blender Tools, or the way I am doing it. Has anyone had this problem before? I have searched through the discussions here and found a few which might have been relevant. I tried their solutions, but none of them worked. Then I tried to update Source Tools and Crowbar. That fixed a small problem which was some animations deformed the armature when being imported. And now I'm all out of options except to ask for help. Thank you for taking the time to read this.

Crowbar still cannot export animations from csgo models properly yet. Use SourceFilmmaker to extract animations.

Thank you for your quick reply. I am downloading the program now. I will post back if it works.

Ok, so the program finally finished downloading. I started messing with it, and I figured out how to bring in csgo models with their materials. I was able to find the animations I want, but I can't seem to export them properly. They also don't show up properly on the preview, but they are all listed under the sequences tab. How can I fix this?

Well SFM was not working out for me. I did take another look at the player models folder and found a folder called Custom_Player and inside there was a folder called ct_animations. Most of the animations in there are working so far except for the first few which are additive. So if anyone passes by this post, I guess this is sort of a solution. Good luck :)
