Solved. Turns out all I needed to do was export from the origin pose.

Hi,

I'm currently trying to export a still animation from Blender, yet the animation for some reason turns out corrupted. Here it is in Blender[cdn.discordapp.com], and herhere it is in HLMV.[cdn.discordapp.com] As you can see, the fingers are basically gone and actual arm has been translated a few units over. I'm using Blender 2.83 with the latest version of Blender source tools. These are my export settings.[cdn.discordapp.com]

If you just export it as is and put it in Gmod, Source won't be able to read it at all. Hence you still need a compiler.

You need to import a valve skeleton and rig the MMD model to it. Unfortunately, I don't know any tutorials on the subject other than 3DS Max, but the basic process should still be the same.

You're going to need vtfedit to convert all your textures to vtf files.
