I made a Minecraft chest model with opening and closing animations yesterday, and initially it worked fine, but when I tried to scale it down to 0.75 times its original scale, to make the player's height fit better with the player's height in Minecraft, for some reason that caused the chest's lid to start in the open position, and when an opening animation played, the lid would rotate back an additional 90 degrees. It displays fine in Blender, and I even applied all of the object's transforms to make sure they were correct, but no matter what I do to try and fix it, nothing happens.

I have a finished model, with materials and sequences set up in the form of Actions in Blender, but when I try to export the model, I only get the models reference SMD, and no additional animation SMDs. How do I export actions?

I'm trying to make an incredibly simple physics prop as a test, a small cube with a dev texture applied to all faces, but according to the VDC page on the $cdmaterials QC command, Material filenames are defined by the reference mesh. How exactly do I get the reference mesh to include the correct filenames for the dev material?

I tried to import the idle animation from a decompiled oil drum physics prop model, because apparently every model requires at least one sequence unless it's a static prop, and there was just one bone, a pose, and an animation attached to the armature. I would've expected this to be easy to figure out on my own, but it seems not even the official Blender manual mentions it.
