i'm not sure about my history with american steam locomotives and i give high respect to the american engineer's for thier locomotive desgins but i think the Big Boy locomotives was a better american achivement for the strongest locomotive design.

The Big Boy is way to overrated, the true power was all in the PRR's hands, ranging from the K4 Pacifics to the M1b Mountains/J1 2-10-4's, they were the real achievement of American Railroads

Yeah but you have weak trains that require way too many bankers, like you have 25 car trains that can only do 5 MPH and you need like 5 trains to make it go even 10 MPH, while here in America, we have trains that can haul 125 Freight Cars and can do 50 MPH
