Christianity is unique in that God reaches down to humanity to offer salvation, rather than humanity attempting to reach up to God through efforts or merit. It teaches that, because humans are inherently broken, God provided a way to be rescued though faith.

There is no such thing as a "good Christian" because everyone is inherently a sinner no matter what religion they adhere to or are a non-believer. Christianity saves lives and provides hope to all those who accept Jesus as the true Lord and Savior.
