Hi guys, I'm ANGY. I'm very excited to share my humble story and screenshots in the "Meet the Author" section among other outstanding virtual photographers ヽ( ᐛ )ノ Yay!

Before becoming active on Steam, I used to write a game journal on my personal blog to keep memories. I've been doing that since I was in my teens. And now... I'm an adult who's always busy working and barely has time to play. So, I decided to capture 1–2 shots with real effort put into them and post on Steam instead.

I usually capture what I like, so it may not be particularly fancy or interesting to other gamers. That said, I'll get right into it!

To me, an attractive character is a must when playing or selecting a game ( ͡º ꒳ ͡º)
If you know me already, you've probably noticed what my screenshots focus on. I enjoy capturing the MCs, and since I mostly play male characters, that's what you'll see the most.

For Elden Ring, it started as a character shot too. As I continued to play, I noticed the game had a fantastic atmosphere, and every skill effect/motion was astonishing. That's when I decided to capture battle shots and add some hopeless vibes to them—because that’s how I consistently felt when facing new bosses and monsters 😂

This game especially had a lot of skilled screenshot enthusiasts. At some point, I was trying too hard to catch up or make my screenshots look presentable like others—or perfect to my own eyes—rather than playing the game or simply enjoying Screenarchery.
This was one of the screenshots I put a lot of effort into, but I still hate how it turned out. Felt sad about this, lol.

This one was the opposite. It’s more of an experimental shot. I tried capturing it from a different perspective, didn’t put much effort or love into it—yet somehow got a lot of compliments from others ˆᗜˆ
Which made me think it’s nice to try something new while enjoying the process, rather than aiming for perfection and stressing over it.

Recently, I’ve started putting a story into a screenshot to share my thoughts and discuss others' interpretations when they see my work. I love communicating (sometimes too much) in the comment section, so it's a fun and lovely way to get new ideas or perspectives.
Choosing a topic usually depends on the music I’m listening to at the time. Random, but effective enough to get me started on a screenshot.

My preferred editing style is sharp and crisp screenshots—especially for portraits. This makes the character’s skin look much more realistic. So I always give the main subject a sharpened effect and blur the background. Since the image has a sharp touch, I keep the colors in low saturation to give it a soft glimpse.
Sharp + strong colors can make the eyes burn ´꒳`;) … at least for me.

I use Photoshop and Clip Studio for editing.

One of my other hobbies is drawing! Whenever I edit character-based screenshots, I add/fix eye colors, lashes, brows, and hair to give them a more lively look. I try my best not to overdo this and keep it close to the original so others won’t notice too much. (Hope you guys didn’t! :P)
